BC Tech Days 2024

BC TechDays is just around the corner, and I’m excited to share where you can find me during the event.

This conference is organized by mibuso.com and offers two days packed with highly relevant, technical-only sessions focused on Microsoft Dynamics™ Business Central. It’s the perfect place for developers and business owners to exchange ideas, find partners, and kickstart new projects. If you’re passionate about Business Central, this is the event for you!

  • Copilot Development: AI-Powered Extensions for Business Central
  • Date: Thursday, June 13
  • Time: 11:30 – 13:00
  • Location: Room 7 (Overflow in Room 6)

You can always find me at the conference venue, particularly in the Walking Dinner & Exhibition area. Feel free to stop me to just say hi or chat about copilots, CentralQ, and more!

The “Copilot Development: AI-Powered Extensions for Business Central” workshop is designed to equip participants with the skills to create AI-powered copilot functionalities in Business Central.

Attendees will develop practical skills in AI copilot creation, understand Large Language Models (LLMs), and learn to deploy AI models in Azure.

The workshop covers the Business Central Copilot Toolkit, including copilot registration and interactive UI elements like PromptDialog. Additionally, participants will explore advanced AI concepts such as embeddings, semantic search, and prompt engineering to enhance user interaction and copilot responsiveness.

With a total of 48 attendees registered, I can’t wait to share the experience I’ve gained over the last 9 months since the Copilot Toolkit was released.

This year I am thrilled to present alongside the amazing Horina Serbanescu, Principal Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Our session, “Copilot Development: AI-Powered Extensions for Business Central,” will take place on Thursday, June 13, from 11:30 to 13:00 in Room 7 (overflow in Room 6), just after the keynote.

We will explore the Copilot Toolkit and show how Large Language Models (LLMs) can change your workflows and improve user interactions. You will learn how to build your own copilot in Business Central, using different prompting techniques to turn AI suggestions into actionable features and records. We’ll cover the basics of AI administration, function calling, embeddings, and explain why AI safety and telemetry are important.

With many practical demos like Project Planning Copilot, Import Any Excel Copilot, and Assistant Copilot, you’ll gain the knowledge and inspiration to create your own AI projects.
